My name is Brian Gartside and I am a 35 year old graphic
designer & typographer. I am currently Head of Design at
Ogilvy New York.
After graduating with a B.F.A in Graphic Design from Virginia
Commonwealth University, I moved to New York and began working
at Pentagram, for Michael Gericke's team.
In May of 2012 I was brought to DDB New York by Menno Kluin and
Juan Carlos Pagan, as part of their effort to creatively revive
the agency.
In July of 2014 I left DDB for a position at Deutsch Inc,
In September of 2017 I joined 360i, and then in October of 2022
I moved to the New York office of Goodby Silverstein & Partners.
I am currently available for off-site freelance work and would
